Abstract:
A stacked electrode assembly is disclosed which comprises: a lowermost electrode which is disposed at the lowermost portion of the electrode assembly; an uppermost electrode which is disposed on the uppermost portion of the electrode assembly; an unit stacked body which is disposed between the lowermost electrode and the uppermost electrode and includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and a separator which is disposed between the lowermost electrode and the unit stacked body, and between the unit stacked body and the uppermost electrode. The capacity and the energy density of the lithium battery can be improved by employing an electrode including a mesh electrode current collector as the lowermost electrode or the uppermost electrode of the stacked electrode assembly.
