Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrode for a secondary battery and an electrode assembly comprising same, the electrode comprising: a composite layer formed on at least one surface of an electrode current collector; and a gas adsorption layer, wherein the composite layer has a pattern structure, and the electrode has a structure in which the gas adsorption layer is arranged in an area in which the composite layer is not patterned, so as to have the excellent effect of removing gas generated during initial charging/discharging of a secondary battery, and thus the performance and the stability of the secondary battery comprising same are excellent.
