Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electrode for an electrochemical element that has excellent flexibility, reduced warpage, and lower interfacial resistance between an electrode compound material layer and a current collector, and that enables the electrochemical element to exhibit an excellent high-temperature storage characteristic. An electrode of the present invention comprises a current collector, and an electrode compound material layer formed on the current collector. The current collector is composed of at least one of aluminum and an aluminum alloy, and has a thickness of 5 μm or more and less than 15 μm, and a breaking elongation of 10 to 40%. The electrode compound material layer includes: electrode active material particles; a conductive material containing a fibrous carbon material; and a binding material. The electrode compound material layer has an areal weight of 21 to 30 mg/cm2, a storage elastic modulus of 0.1 to 2.2 GPa or less, and a loss elastic modulus of 0.01 to 0.04 GPa.
