Abstract:
Conventional batteries had a problem that when the battery temperature rises to 100 °C or above due to an internal short-circuit, large short-circuit current is generated and causes the further increase in the battery temperature due to generation of heat and, as a result, short-circuit current increases. In order to eliminate this problem, an electrode which increases its resistance as the battery temperature rises, a method for manufacturing the electrode, and a battery which uses this electrode and prevents the increase in short-circuit current even if the battery temperature increases due to generation of heat are provided.
