Abstract:

A composite material sheet (12), which is a constituent of an electrode (10) that is an example of the embodiment of the present invention, contains an active material (21) and a fibrous binder (22). With respect to the binder (22), a polytetrafluoroethylene is contained as a main component; and in a solid-state 19F-NMR analysis, the ratio of the area of a second peak to the area of a first peak that is detected at δ = -122 ppm and assigned to F in a straight chain moiety is 0.01% to 5.0%, the second peak being other than the first peak and a spinning side band thereof, while being present between δ = -60 ppm and δ = -200 ppm.
