Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: an electrode paste and electrode with which choking is eliminated and electrostatic capacity can be improved by providing open ends to MWCNTs, introducing OH and COOH groups, and weakening the bonding force between the MWCNT layers; a power storage device; and a manufacturing method. [Solution] An electrode paste according to the present embodiment includes a binder and multi-walled carbon nanotubes having at least one open end. The multi-walled carbon nanotubes may have both ends opened. Each multi-walled carbon nanotube has an OH group and a COOH group introduced at least at one end thereof. An electrode according to the present embodiment has a current collector having a multi-walled carbon nanotube-containing layer, which is obtained by drying the electrode paste, formed on at least one main surface thereof. A power storage device according to the present embodiment includes, in an outer container, the electrode, a negative electrode, an electrolyte, and a separator.
