Abstract:
A cylindrical battery (10) which is one example of an embodiment of the present invention comprises, as an electrode plate, an electrode (14) that includes a positive electrode plate (11) and a negative electrode plate (12).
The electrode plate includes: a core; a mix layer which is formed on the core; a lead which is connected to an exposed section of the core at which the surface thereof is exposed; and an identification display.
In the exposed section, at least a part of the identification display is formed within a projection range in which the contour of the lead is projected.
