Abstract:
A cylindrical battery (10), which is an example of an embodiment of the present invention, comprises an electrode body (14) including a positive electrode plate (11) and a negative electrode plate (12) as electrode plates. Each electrode plate comprises a core body and a mixture layer formed on the core body. An identification marking is formed on a surface of the mixture layer. The identification marking is covered with, for example, tape.
