Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electrode for power storage devices that is capable of enhancing the charging and discharging speeds of a power storage device, and a production method for said electrode. [Solution] This hand device 1 is provided with: a non-woven current collector 10 which comprises short fibers A of aluminum or copper having an average length of no more than 20 mm; and an adsorbent material powder on which electrolyte ions are absorbed during charging or an active material powder 20 which undergoes a chemical reaction during charging and discharging, the powder filling into gaps formed between the short fibers A of the non-woven current collector 10. As a result, the adsorbent material powder or the active material powder 20 is in direction contact with the short fibers A or is disposed in the vicinity of the short fibers A, and when electron exchange is performed between the short fibers A and the adsorbent material powder or active material powder 20, it is possible to reduce the transfer resistance of the electrons.
