Abstract:
A positive electrode (11) that is an example of an electrode for a secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode core material (20), a conductive adhesive layer (22) disposed on the positive electrode core material (20), and a positive electrode mixture layer (24) disposed on the adhesive layer (22), wherein: the positive electrode core material (20) has, at one end in the short direction of the positive electrode core material (20), an exposed part (28) on which the adhesive layer (22) and the positive electrode mixture layer (24) are not provided; an insulating protective layer (26) containing a resin is disposed on the exposed part (28) at the one end; and the protective layer (26) is in contact with the end surface at one end of the adhesive layer (22) and the positive electrode mixture layer (24) in the short direction.
