Abstract:
The present application provides an electrode sheet and a battery. The electrode sheet of the present application comprises a current collector, an active layer, and a first insulation layer. The first insulation layer comprises a first insulation body and a first extension portion. In a first direction of the electrode sheet, any surface of the current collector comprises a first functional region and a second functional region connected to each other, the active layer covers the first functional region, and the first insulation body covers the second functional region; in a second direction of the electrode sheet, the first extension portion extends from at least a partial end surface of the first insulation body and protrudes out of the second functional region; and the second direction and the first direction are perpendicular to each other. The electrode sheet of the present application can improve the safety performance of the battery.
