Abstract:
The objective is to provide an electrode for a short-arc discharge lamp having adequate heat dissipation and high heat resistance.
An electrode for short-arc discharge lamp is provided with: a first main body part (3) constituted from a high melting-point metal; and a second main body part (5) provided at a back end portion of the first main body part (3) and constituted from a ceramic-carbon composite material having a ceramics interface layer formed in between carbon particles.
