Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the number of control wires formed in a continuously connected manner upon a chip on film (COF). In this electroluminescent display, a plurality of connection terminals (75) for connecting with panel wires formed on a panel substrate (31) are arranged at one side of a flexible substrate (22g), said flexible substrate being provided with: terminal connection lines (74d, 74e) for connecting the connection terminals (75) to single points inside the flexible substrate (22g); and continuously connected lines (74a, 74b, 74c) for forming connections between two or more connection terminals (75). Driver output terminals of a gate driver integrated circuit (IC) (12) are wired using the terminal connection lines (74e). Driver input terminals of the gate driver IC (12) are wired using the terminal connection lines (74d) or the continuously connected lines (74a, 74b, 74c). Control terminals (72) for setting the logic for the gate driver IC (12) are disposed between connection terminals (71), and the driver input terminals (73a, 73b) having continuously connected lines connected thereto.
