Abstract:
Provided are an electrolyte analysis device and a method for identifying an abnormality in the same that make it possible to detect an abnormality in an ion-selective electrode at an early stage. The electrolyte analysis device comprises an ion-selective electrode that generates a sample potential that is a potential corresponding to the ion concentration of a sample, a comparison electrode that generates a reference potential that is a potential to serve as a reference, and a concentration calculation unit that calculates the ion concentration on the basis of the potential difference between the sample potential and the reference potential. The electrolyte analysis device is characterized by additionally comprising an abnormality determination unit for determining whether there is an abnormality on the basis of an evaluation value that has been calculated using a detergent potential that is a potential generated by the ion-selective electrode when a detergent was supplied.
