Abstract:

Provided is an electrolyte material which has low hydrogen gas permeability and excellent hot water resistance. An electrolyte material containing a polymer which has a unit represented by formula u1 and a unit based on chlorotrifluoroethylene at a specific ratio. In the formula, Q11 represents a perfluoroalkylene group that may have an ether oxygen atom; Q12 represents a single bond or a perfluoroalkylene group that may have an ether oxygen atom; Y1 represents a fluorine atom or the like; s represents 0 or 1; Rf1 represents a perfluoroalkyl group that may have an ether oxygen atom; X1 represents an oxygen atom or the like; a represents 0 in cases where X1 is an oxygen atom; and Z+ represents H+ or the like.
