Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an electrolyte membrane having excellent durability when performing water electrolysis. The present invention is an electrolyte membrane having a first electrolyte layer that has a first main surface and a second main surface, and a second electrolyte layer on the first main surface of the first electrolyte layer. The first electrolyte layer has a thickness of 40-250 μm inclusive and contains a polymer electrolyte, and the second electrolyte layer contains a polymer electrolyte and carbon particles.
