Abstract:

The present invention relates to an electrolyte for a battery, comprising a functional group which can react with a side reaction site serving as an element for causing the decomposition of components of negative electrode materials, and a functional group which can react with water serving as an element for causing the decomposition of components of positive electrode materials, to thereby ensure the stability of the battery at high temperatures, and to prevent the degradation of the performance of the battery. The present invention also relates to a secondary battery comprising the electrolyte. The present invention uses compounds comprising the functional group which can react with the side reaction site of the negative electrode materials and the functional group which can react with water, thus achieving a maximized improvement in storing the secondary battery at high temperatures.
