Abstract:
The invention relates to electrolyte solutions for electrochemical cells, e.g. dual-layer capacitors, having a conducting capacity of more than 20 mS/cm at 25 DEG C and comprising at least one conducting salt which is dissolved in a solvent mixture of A) at least one solvent having a high polarity and B) at least one non-toxic solvent having a low viscosity. As a result of the low or non-existent acetonitrile content, there is no danger that the inventive electrolyte solutions will release hydrocyanic acid in case of fire.
