Abstract:
An electrolytic capacitor 20 comprises a capacitor element 10 that includes a porous anode body 1, a dielectric layer 3 formed on a surface of the anode body 1, and a solid electrolyte layer 4 which covers at least a portion of the dielectric layer 3. The anode body 1 comprises: a plurality of main surfaces; and corner portions that include a plurality of side portions which connects the plurality of main surfaces to each other and one or a plurality of apex portions which connects the plurality of main surfaces to each other. At least a portion of a surface layer X of the corner portions is denser than a surface layer Y of a main surface adjacent the surface layer X.
