Title:
ELECTROLYTIC SOLUTION FOR ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR, AND ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/082904
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is provide an electrolytic solution which is for an electrolytic capacitor and which has superior voltage resistance, and a small decrease in electrical conductivity after a heat resistance test. This electrolytic solution for an electrolytic capacitor contains an electrolyte and a solvent, wherein the electrolyte contains an anion and a cation, the anion has a structure in which, from a copolymer having a carboxy group, at least one hydrogen ion of the carboxy group is removed, the copolymer having a carboxy group has a substituent having 5-20 carbon atoms which is linked to a carbon atom of the backbone of the copolymer, the copolymer having a carboxy group does not have a hydroxy group, and even if the copolymer having a carboxy group has a hydroxy group, the contained amount of monomers containing a hydroxy group of the structural monomers of the copolymer having a carboxy group is less than 60 wt% with respect to the weight of all monomers constituting the copolymer having a carboxy group, the copolymer satisfies condition 1, and the solvent contains ethylene glycol. (Condition 1) The electrical conductivity of an ethylene glycol solution containing 10 wt% of an ammonium salt between ammonia and the copolymer having a carboxy group is 0.2-3.0 mS/cm at 30°C.
