Abstract:
An electrolyzed water generating device 1 is provided with: an electrolysis chamber 40 to which water to be electrolyzed is supplied; a first power supply body 41 and a second power supply body 42 having different polarities disposed facing each other in the electrolysis chamber 40; a diaphragm 43 for dividing the electrolysis chamber 40 into a first pole chamber 40a on a first power supply body 41 side and a second pole chamber 40b on a second power supply body 42 side, the diaphragm 43 being disposed between the first power supply body 41 and the second power supply body 42; and a control means 5 for switching the polarity of the first power supply body 41 and the second power supply body 42 to positive electrode or negative electrode; surfaces of the first power supply body 41 and the second power supply body 42 being formed by a hydrogen storage metal, and the control means having an operating mode for switching the polarity each time electrolysis is started in the electrolysis chamber 40.
