Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a brake shoe 303 that is in slidable contact with a brake drum 202; an armature 302 that supports the brake shoe 303; a plurality of braking springs 313 that press the armature 302 and urge the brake shoe 303 in a braking direction; and an electromagnetic magnet body 301 that electromagnetically attracts the armature 302 in resistance to the urging force of the braking springs 313 and drives the brake shoe 303 in a direction away from the brake drum 202. The electromagnetic magnet body 301 comprises a first electromagnetic coil 311 and a second electromagnetic coil 312 that generate an electromagnetic attraction force by means of energization. The timings of current interruptions of the first electromagnetic coil 311 and the second electromagnetic coil 312 are each shifted during the current interruption from energized states.
