Abstract:
An electromagnetic power-off brake having a high braking torque. The electromagnetic power-off brake comprises an iron core (1), an armature (9), a coil winding (2) provided in the iron core (1), and several compression springs (4) having one ends embedded in the iron core (1), and specifically comprises a cover plate (6) and a brake disc (11), wherein the cover plate (6) and the iron core (1) are fixed to each other, several equal-height columns (7) are used for supporting between the cover plate (6) and the iron core (1), the armature (9) is provided with through holes (10) matching the outer diameter of the equal-height columns (7) and is slidably connected between the iron core (1) and the cover plate (6), the other ends of the several compression springs (4) abut against one end surface of the armature (9), the brake disc (11) is provided with a large center through hole (12), the several equal-height columns (7) are located in the large center through hole (12), the brake disc (11) can rotate on the peripheries of the equal-height columns (7), a circular ring portion (13) is formed on the periphery of the large center through hole (12), and friction plates (14) which can match each other are respectively provided between one end surface of the circular ring portion (13) and the armature (9) and between the other end surface of the circular ring portion (13) and the cover plate (6). By means of such an arrangement, the friction plates are kept away from a central axis of the electromagnetic power-off brake, and a greater braking torque can be obtained, such that better braking performance and response performance are provided, and the electromagnetic power-off brake is miniaturized and light-weighted.
