Abstract:
An electromagnetic radiation detection apparatus for hidden fire danger in a mine, and a method therefor, said apparatus and method being for fire detection. The detection apparatus comprises a group of mutually-perpendicular receiving antennas and a main monitoring machine. The detection method is: at designated measurement points, orienting the effective receiving direction of the group of mutually-perpendicular receiving antennas toward a detection area, and measuring and calculating the value and the primary direction of electromagnetic radiation, the intersection of primary directions in respect of different measurement points indicating a potential danger area. On the basis of the average value of electromagnetic radiation indicators of a potential danger area and on the basis of a trend shown by multiple dynamic change measurements, a determination is made by means of a critical value and the trend in dynamic change. When an electromagnetic radiation indicator value or the trend in dynamic change exceeds a corresponding critical value, it is determined that the danger of fire is present in said area. The present method can be used to detect, temporally and spatially, hidden fire danger and fire danger areas in a mine. The method is highly effective and convenient.
