Abstract:
This electromagnetic relay comprises: a first fixed terminal; a second fixed terminal; a movable armature; a moving member; a drive device; and a magnetic member. The first fixed terminal contains a first fixed contact. The second fixed terminal contains a second fixed contact. The movable armature contains: a first movable contact opposing the first fixed contact along a first direction that includes a contact direction of approaching the first fixed contact, and an opening and separating direction of separating from the first fixed contact; and a second movable contact opposing the second fixed contact along the first direction. The moving member is coupled to the movable armature. The drive device contains a coil, a movable iron core, and a first yoke. The coil generates electromagnetic force. The movable iron core is disposed, with respect to the coil, on the radial outward-side of the coil, and is fixed to the moving member. The first yoke contains an attracting part that by means of electromagnetic force attracts the movable iron core. The magnetic member is disposed, with respect to the coil, on the radial outward-side of the coil, and assists with the attraction of the movable iron core by the attracting part.
