Abstract:
Provided are: an electromagnetic steel sheet with an insulating coating for which the coating adhesiveness of the insulating coating is excellent; and a production method therefor. An electromagnetic steel sheet with an insulating coating that has an insulating coating comprising an insulating tension coating layer A on at least one surface, wherein, when the weight per area of the insulating tension coating layer A is M and the tension applied by the insulating tension coating layer A on the steel sheet is σA, the tension applied on the steel sheet by the insulating tension coating layer at M/2 weight per area from the surface in the insulating tension coating layer A is at least 0.80× σA. A production method for an electromagnetic steel sheet with an insulating coating in which the insulating tension coating layer A is formed by: applying a coat-forming treatment liquid comprising colloidal silica and at least one salt, selected from among Mg, Al, Ca, Ba, Sr, Zn, Ti, Nd, Mo, Cr, Ta, Cu, and Mn salts of phosphoric acid, boric acid, and silicic acid on at least one surface of an electromagnetic steel sheet; after said application, heating at a heating rate of at least 100°C/sec in the temperature range of 600°C to 700°C; and then baking at 800°C or above.
