Abstract:
An electromagnetic wave control device (100) controls the directivity of a radio wave emitted by a dipole antenna (150) of a general-purpose access point. The electromagnetic wave control device (100) comprises a reflector plate (120) disposed on the side opposite to a radio wave emission side of the antenna, and a conductor plate (110) that is disposed on the radio wave emission side of the antenna and on which a conductor (112) is formed. The conductor plate (110) is provided with a plurality of holes (113) arranged in a lattice pattern by forming openings in the conductor (112). A hole of the plurality of holes (113) located at the center has an inner edge length which resonates with one communication wavelength. The inner edge length of the holes (113) gradually increases from the center to the outside.
