Abstract:
This electron mirror apparatus comprises: a display unit that displays a first image from a first vehicle-mounted camera, which is installed on the hatch of a vehicle so as to capture an image of the rear view of the vehicle; an open/closed state determination unit that determines the open/closed state of the hatch; and a display control unit that controls the display/non-display of the first image on the display unit. The display control unit displays the first image on the display unit if it is determined by the open/closed state determination unit that the hatch is in a closed state, whereas the first image is not displayed if it is determined by the open/closed state determination unit that the hatch is in an open state.
