Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electronic certification system with which processing for reliability verification can be simplified while increasing reliability. Provided is an electronic certification system for guaranteeing the reliability of data provided from a first terminal device, such as a server 1, to a second terminal device, such as a client 3, by means of a trail registered in a block chain 2, wherein the first terminal device is provided with: a trail registration means 102 which registers, in the block chain 2 as a trail, information about at least one of the first terminal device, an administrator of the first terminal device, and a program that runs on the first terminal device and that exchanges data with the second terminal device; and a trail providing means 103 which transmits the trail to the second terminal device. The electronic certification system is characterized in that, if the trail provided from the trail providing means 103 is registered in the block chain 2, the second terminal device determines that the data are reliable.
