An electronic cigarette comprising: an e-liquid storage component (101) and an atomizing component (102) that are detachably and nestedly connected. The e-liquid storage component (101) is provided with an e-liquid storage cavity (103) and a blocking component (104) having a position recovery function. The blocking component (104) is arranged at an e-liquid filler opening of the e-liquid storage cavity (103). When the atomizing component (102) is nested in the e-liquid storage component (101), the blocking component (104) is pushed to move away from the e-liquid filler opening of the e-liquid storage cavity (103), thus allowing an e-liquid in the e-liquid storage cavity (103) to come into contact with the atomizing component (102) in order to supply the e-liquid to the atomizing component (102). When the atomizing component (102) is separated from the interior of the e-liquid storage component (101), the blocking component (104) recovers to the position at the e-liquid filler opening of the e-liquid storage cavity (103) to seal the e-liquid storage cavity so as to prevent leakage of the e-liquid from the e-liquid storage cavity (103), thus reducing wastage of the e-liquid and preventing the accidental ingestion of e-liquid.
