Abstract:
The invention is characterized by comprising: an open-close contact point 2 for opening and closing an electrical path 1; a current detection device 3 for detecting a current in the electrical path 1; a first microcomputer 10 into which an output signal from the current detection device 3 is input, and which outputs an instantaneous tripping signal; a second microcomputer 20 which acquires from the first microcomputer 10 information on the current flowing in the electrical path 1, and which outputs a timed tripping signal; and a tripping device 8 for opening the open-close contact point 2 based on the instant tripping signal and the timed tripping signal, wherein the first microcomputer 10 sends a notification that a restart thereof has occurred, through a first port output 106a, to the second microcomputer 20, and the second microcomputer 20 sends a notification that a restart thereof has occurred, through a parallel communication 206b, to the first microcomputer 10.
