An electronic clinical thermometer (100) for measuring the body temperature of a person to be measured includes: internal equipment (18) that measures said body temperature; and a housing (50) that has a space formed therein for arranging the internal equipment (18). The housing (50) includes: a case body (52) that has a bottom surface part (52R) extending along the length direction of the electronic clinical thermometer (100), and an annular wall part (52U) that rises from the peripheral edge of the bottom surface part (52R); and a sheet-shaped member (51) in which the outer peripheral section thereof is joined to the leading-end side in the rising direction of the annular wall part (52U). Said space in which the internal equipment (18) is arranged is formed by joining the sheet-shaped member (51) to the case body (52).
