Abstract:
This electronic control device is installed in a vehicle and comprises: a reception unit for receiving a data signal that has been transmitted through a transmission line installed in the vehicle; an environmental information acquisition unit for acquiring environmental information about the vehicle; and a determination unit for determining the state of the transmission line. The reception unit comprises an equalizer for compensating the data signal. The equalizer calculates a compensation parameter for compensating the data signal, and the determination unit determines the state of the transmission line on the basis of the compensation parameter and the environmental information.
