Abstract:
Provided is an electronic control device that can continue drive control of an electric motor according to a normal system during an abnormality of a ground connector or a ground harness, in a system in which a power source system, a drive system, and a control system are made redundant and the ground of the control system is shared. Also provided is a diagnostic method for said electronic control device. This electronic control device comprises first and second power source connectors, first and second ground connectors, first and second inverters, first and second control circuits, and first and second current-voltage conversion elements. The first and second current-voltage conversion elements are respectively provided between grounds of the first and second inverters and a common ground of the first and second control circuits, and detect ground currents of the first and second control circuits. The present invention is characterized in that the first and second control circuits are used to detect an abnormal condition of the first and second ground connectors on the basis of the currents respectively flowing through the first and second current-voltage conversion elements.
