Abstract:
An electronic control device comprises: a housing which is formed from a first housing that has an assembly opening and a second housing that covers the entirety of the assembly opening, and which has a communication opening that communicates with the assembly opening; a circuit substrate which is contained within the housing; an integrated circuit element which is mounted on the circuit substrate; and a heat dissipation shield member which is thermally joined to the integrated circuit element and is grounded to the ground. The heat dissipation shield member has an inside section which is contained within the housing and is thermally joined to the integrated circuit element, and an outside section which extends outside of the housing through the communication opening.
