Title:
ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND ACCESSORY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/206006
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To reduce the effect of noise from a clock signal on a signal of an adjacent contact while suppressing an increase in the number of contacts. [Solution] An electronic device (100) is configured so that an accessory (200) can be detachably attachment thereto. The electronic device has a plurality of contacts that are arranged in a line and are electrically connected to the accessory. The plurality of contacts include: an attachment detection contact (TC06) that is used to detect the attachment of the accessory to the electronic device; and a first clock contact (TC07) that is used, in communication between the electronic device and the accessory, to transmit a first clock signal. The potential of the attachment detection contact changes from a predetermined potential to a ground potential after the accessory is attached to the electronic device. The attachment detection contact is disposed next to the first clock contact.
