Abstract:
According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise: a first housing; a second housing which is slidably coupled to the first housing; a flexible display which is expanded or reduced on the basis of the slide-out or slide-in movement of the first housing; a drive motor which is disposed in the second housing and includes a pinion gear; a rack gear structure which is disposed in the first housing and includes a rack gear driven in mesh with the pinion gear; at least one sensor module which senses the movement of the second housing; a memory in which executable instructions are stored; and at least one processor which accesses the memory to execute the instructions, wherein the at least one processor is configured to control the drive motor on the basis of sensing information detected from the at least one sensor module.
