Abstract:
An electronic device according to various embodiments comprises: a housing which can be folded by rotating at least one hinge, wherein at least one magnet is disposed inside the housing; a flexible display visually exposed through the housing; a touch sensor configured to detect a touch on the flexible display; at least one processor; and a memory. The memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to: set the sensitivity of a first region of the touch sensor to a first sensitivity, wherein the first region is set according to the position of the at least one magnet; set the sensitivity of the remaining regions other than the first region to a second sensitivity; use the touch sensor to confirm that a foreign substance is arranged on the first region of the touch sensor in a state in which the housing is unfolded; and output an indication, set according to the arrangement of the foreign substance, on the basis of the confirmation of the arrangement of the foreign substance.
