Abstract:
This electronic device control method comprises: a step (S1) for obtaining environmental information of an electronic device, the information including information about the environment surrounding the electronic device or information about the installation mode of the electronic device; and a step (S2) for performing, with reference to predetermined association between the environmental information of the electronic device and details of control regarding content presentation by the electronic device, a control regarding a content presentation by the electronic device, the content presentation being associated with the obtained environmental information. For example, the environmental information may include, as the information about the environment surrounding the electronic device, information indicating the presence or absence of a person around the electronic device, the orientation of the person around the electronic device, the direction in which the person is present around when viewed from the electronic device, the brightness in the surrounding area of the electronic device, or the sound volume in the surrounding area of the electronic device, and the environmental information may be obtained by a sensor which senses the environment surrounding the electronic device and outputs an environmental value indicating the environment.
