Abstract:
An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device comprises a communication interface and a processor, which controls the communication interface so that an audio signal is transmitted to an external audio output device, identifies, on the basis of frequency band information included in the audio signal, a frequency band in which a test pattern signal is to be transmitted, and controls the communication interface so that information corresponding to the identified frequency band is transmitted to the audio output device and the test pattern signal is transmitted to the audio output device through the identified frequency band.
