Abstract:
An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device according to the present disclosure comprises: a communication interface including a communication circuit; a memory for storing at least one instruction; and a processor, wherein the processor acquires an image including a human object, acquires a 3D shape model corresponding to the human object included in the image, maps a texture of the image to the 3D shape model on the basis of identification information about each area of the 3D shape model, and generates a 3D avatar corresponding to the human object on the basis of the 3D shape model onto which the texture of the image is mapped.
