Abstract:
The present electronic device comprises: a communication interface that communicates with a content provision device and a server; a memory that stores identification information of the content provision device; a display; and at least one processor that controls the display so as to display first content received from the content provision device, transmits the identification information of the content provision device to the server through the communication interface when it is determined that a preset event has occurred, receives, from the server through the communication interface, UI location information corresponding to the identification information, controls the display so as to display second content on the basis of receiving a user command to change the displayed first content to the second content, and obtains content information corresponding to the second content on the basis of the received UI location information, wherein the UI location information is information obtained from a combined image comprising a plurality of images overlapped and merged into one image.
