Abstract:
Disclosed is an electronic device. The electronic device disclosed herein comprises a display, a communication device for transmitting and receiving signals to and from wireless routers, a memory that stores one or more instructions, and at least one processor that executes the one or more instructions to: measure the signal strength with each of the plurality of wireless routers at a plurality of positions within a preset space, and generate fingerprint information about the preset space; control the communication device to measure respective first signal strengths of a plurality of first available wireless routers at a plurality of spaced positions adjacent to a first measurement position within the preset space; predict the respective positions of the plurality of first available wireless routers on the basis of the measured first signal strengths; determine subsequent second measurement positions within the preset space on the basis of the predicted positions and the distances between the predicted positions; and control the display to display information about the determined second measurement positions.
