Abstract:
Disclosed are an electronic device for controlling an external electronic device to output specific light on the basis of a detected skin condition and a method for controlling same. The electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: at least one camera; a communication interface; and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to: acquire an image of a part of a user's body by using the at least one camera; detect a skin condition of the part of the user's body on the basis of the acquired image; acquire information about the position of a first external electronic device on the part of the body, the first external electronic device being operably connected to the electronic device through the communication interface; and control the first external electronic device such that the first external electronic device outputs light having a specific wavelength on the basis of the detected skin condition and the acquired position information.
