Abstract:
An electronic device comprising a memory, a communication circuit, and a processor is disclosed. The processor implements a method comprising the steps of: checking the status of a communication connection with an external server; determining a target size for data to be transmitted to the external server on the basis of the checked status; controlling at least one sensor of a vehicle such that data having an overall size equal to or less than the target size is collected; transmitting the data collected by the at least one sensor to the external server; and receiving a control command from the external server on the basis of the transmitted data and controlling a function of the vehicle according to the received control command.
