Abstract:
An electronic device and an operation method thereof according to various embodiments may be configured to: transmit a designated signal having a designated first frequency to an antenna disposed on one surface of a housing, through a first terminal of a communication circuit; receive a signal transmitted by the antenna, through a second terminal of the communication circuit; identify a second frequency of the signal received by using the communication circuit; identify a pressure value generated between the one surface of the housing and a battery, at least on the basis of the difference between the first frequency and the second frequency; and determine the state of the battery at least on the basis of the pressure value.
