Abstract:
A method of executing an application in a background process by an electronic device may comprise the steps of: acquiring feature data including features indicating properties related to a use history of the electronic device; acquiring priority information of the features of the feature data; dividing the features into first features and second features on the basis of the priority information; compressing the second features; combining the first features and the compressed second features; acquiring pre-processed features by applying the combination of the first features and the compressed second features to multiple first machine learning models; acquiring probability values of an application expected to be executed in the electronic device, by applying the pre-processed features to a second machine learning model; and executing one or more applications in a background process of the electronic device on the basis of the probability values.
