Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application is an electronic device having a millimeter wave antenna module. The electronic device comprises a circuit board, a rear cover and a millimeter wave antenna module, wherein the millimeter wave antenna module is arranged on the surface of the circuit board that faces the rear cover, and is used for transmitting a millimeter wave electromagnetic wave signal; and at least one of the rear cover and the circuit board is provided with an in-phase reflection structure, and the phase of a millimeter wave electromagnetic wave signal that is received by the in-phase reflection structure is the same as the phase of a reflected millimeter wave electromagnetic wave signal. The millimeter wave electromagnetic wave signal that is transmitted by the millimeter wave antenna module is reflected multiple times between the circuit board and the rear cover, and the distance between the circuit board and the rear cover satisfies the millimeter wave electromagnetic wave signal that reaches the rear cover each time having the same phase. In the present application, at least one of a rear cover and a circuit board is provided with an in-phase reflection structure, such that a small distance between the circuit board and the rear cover makes a millimeter wave electromagnetic wave signal have, when being reflected multiple times, the same phase upon reaching the rear cover each time, thereby reducing the thickness of the whole machine and improving the radiation performance of an antenna.
