Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electronic device, an imaging device, and a power supply switching method capable of, when a power supply line is shut off between a device body and an external device capable of mounting a plurality of power supplies, smoothly switching the power supplies while preventing an abrupt shutoff. In the electronic device according to one embodiment of the present invention, a power supply switching preparation unit performs a process including a first process for bringing the electronic device into a power saving state as a preparation for switching and a second process for bringing the power into an available state from the plurality of power supplies, and a power supply switching control unit switches main power supplies in a set priority order with the switching preparation being performed. Therefore, in an electronic device in which a power supply line is shut off between a device body and an external device capable of mounting a plurality of power supplies, the power supplies can be smoothly switched while preventing an abrupt shutoff.
