Abstract:
An electronic device, according to an embodiment, may comprise: at least one processor; at least one camera; and a memory. The at least one camera may identify an object area in a preview image. The at least one processor may identify, on the basis of identifying the object area corresponding to a pre-defined subject, the brightness of a background area in the preview image, from which the object area is excluded. The at least one processor may obtain, when the brightness of the background area is greater than or equal to a reference value, one or more first frames through a first exposure value on the basis of receiving a user input. The at least one processor may obtain, after the one or more first frames are obtained, one or more second frames through a second exposure value that is greater than the first exposure value.
